Trying to Get a Perfect Pose

Today after giving her a brush and clean we tried to get a nice photo.  It took a while for me to get her to stand still!  She kept on licking me and I had to push her head back.  We got there in the end.

My Poor Foot!

In this photo, look carefully at my foot.  My calf had been standing on my foot for about 30 seconds.  I was asking Mum to hurry up and take the photo so I could get my foot out!

Relaxing in the Meal

Most of the time we like to sit in the meal.  It is really fun because lots of calves come and lick you and stuff like that.  It is nice to sit down after brushing her, its the only time we get to relax with our calves at the farm.

10 September 2018

Today I caught my calf better than last time.  I was walking around looking for a spot to tie her up.  We all agreed to take all of our calves outside because we were going to clean our calves tails and legs and we needed them in the sun.  My calf's tail and butt was ok with not much mud.  Then Julie helped me choose a new cover for Little Chiefy because the other one was too small.  When I was cleaning my calf, I scratched my calf's neck with the brush and she really liked it.  I took her for a walk in the paddock and she did really well except she was scared of big parts of mud like all the other calves.

Sam and Little Chiefy

On 23 August my calf was bleeding from her horns.  The vet came down and he did a really good job of making her better.  Thanks Sam the Vet!  On 10 September she is looking really well.

Meeting Little Chiefy

On 18 August 2018 I went out to the farm to choose my calf.  I chose Little Chiefy because she was little.  It was really hard to choose her name because everyone was giving me ideas and I couldn't really think of one.  Heaps of calves were following me around, sucking and chewing on my overalls!
